So I was at this party on Saturday, and I remember going outside for a cigarette, even though I don't smoke, which is probably why I remember it.
Anyway, I get talking to this girl and she asks me where I'm from, and I tell her I'm from Italy.
I'm not from Italy. I've been to Italy, like, once, for four days, but for some reason I just went with it.
And she's getting all excited because apparently she lived in Milan for two years, and now she's speaking Italian to me.
And I'm just standing there nodding, saying si, si, pretending I understand what she's saying.
Then she asks me something and I say grazie.
Which means thank you. I know that much.
But apparently she'd just asked me if I was married.
So now she thinks I'm married, I'm pretending to be Italian, and I've somehow agreed to meet her parents on Sunday.
And the worst part is, I actually quite liked her.
